Supervisor Safety Leadership Development Workshop: Onboarding for Safety

Course Overview

This workshop focuses on the competencies to help supervisors engage employees and create a positive safety culture. You and your supervisors are invited to join us for this interactive session where we will review best practices to help build a foundation towards a safer work environment. At the conclusion of the session, participants should be able to:

• Describe the practices that contribute to successful onboarding
• Identify the role safety plays in onboarding new employees in the areas of:
  • Work environment and work area
  • Compliance
  • Injury Reporting
• Create a new-employee onboarding plan for supervisors that incorporates safety throughout
