Professional Crane Operations: Mobile Cranes

Course Overview

In a continuing effort to help improve the safety of crane operations, Federal OSHA requires crane operators to be trained, certified/ licensed, and evaluated by their employer or employer’s representative. Certification exams offered by the National Commission for Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) are recognized as a means of complying with the certification requirements in most jurisdictions. This workshop is designed to increase crane safety awareness and help prepare candidates for the exams offered by the NCCCO. Objectives that will be covered are as follows:

  • Site Review and Set-up
  • Operations
  • Inspection and Maintenance
  • Basic Rigging and Wire Rope
  • Load Charts
