Course Overview
Our Risk Control specialists will discuss how you can take a proactive approach to reducing slip, trip and fall accidents. This includes identifying characteristics of the people, usage and physical conditions in your work environment that contribute to slip, trip, and fall incidents and implementing steps to reduce these hazards. At the conclusion of the session, participants should be able to:
- Common causes of slips, trips, and falls.
- How falls happen:
- On the same level.
- From changes in levels.
- High frequency indoor and outdoor areas.
- How to control slip, trip and fall exposures.
- Management controls.
- Incident investigation and response.
- How to raise awareness about slip, trip and fall accidents.
